The Importance of Jewish Meditation

Virtually unknown until very recently, the rich and varied traditions of Jewish meditation are described and explored. Placed in the contexts of meditation in general, the audience gets a taste of dhikr (the repetition of sacred phases), concentration (a guided meditation which takes the Shabbat lights as focal point and metaphor), and visualization (envisioning the dynamic nature of G-d).
