From JuBu to OJ

The autobiographical talk speaks about a generation of Jewish seekers who sought, and found, enlightenment of sorts is ashrams of India and the monasteries of Tibet.
But what was found there was often deeply surprising. Those very teachers whom we so revered were nearly unanimous in pointing us back to Judaism. Why? And what did we find in the religious of our birth, when viewed with eyes trained by years of meditation?
This particularly story recounts a journey to the realm of the JuBu (the Jew who seeks and perhaps finds a spiritual richness in Buddhism and/or Hinduism), and from there to life as an OJ (an Orthodox Jew). The story is rich with anecdotes, told with humor, and edifying about both what led Jews away from Judaism and what led them back to it.
